EP92: Two Right Things
I was thinking just a little while ago, about what I would share with you. We all want to have something inspirational to reveal to others.
But I, like most other entrepreneurs, sometimes struggle to come up with things to share.
This happens for a lot of different reasons.
Maybe you have had that problem as well.
It happens.
And…
It will happen from time to time.
To benefit your audience, you MUST do a few right things.
Sure…
We can ALL do a lot of wrong things…
But it only takes a few right things.

Like:
#1 You need to have a way to share something meaningful, and beneficial for your audience. Sharing things that do not help them will eventually fall on deaf ears.
No one wants that.
#2 You MUST know your audience, so you can help them when they need you most. That is not always easy. People change quite often. So to get to know your audience beneficially, you must have a way to learn what they are struggling with most.
If you have a list of people that already read your emails, you have an opportunity to ask questions, politely, to learn more about the people that are following you.
Don’t you think?
Take that opportunity to grow in your knowledge of their needs, likes, dislikes, and the pain points they live with day in and day out.
You can talk to your audience every time you send out an email or newsletter.
You can share your personality, and your struggles as well.
You can give an account of what you had to overcome, to be where you are right now.
And…
If you know your audience has a certain problem, that you too had to overcome, be willing to share it with them. Describe the feelings you had to live with. Tell them if you did defeat this problem, or if it is still a work in progress.
Let’s assume you were able to overcome a major obstacle and are now benefiting from it. Let them know what success feels like.
Did it give you peace of mind?
Did it make you feel stronger and better, and give you the confidence to continue seeking to do more?
However…
If you do not have a list…
You should know, that building a list needs to be one of the first things you should strive to do.
Why?
Because, with a list, you have a way to help people faster.
You are in business to help people right?
You're not doing it JUST to make money… I hope.
A great quote “When you help enough people get what they want, they will help you get what you want.”
I believe that at my core.
Helping others is important to me.
I hope it is that way for you too.
Believe me, if you are all about money, you can still make a good living, but will you be living your “Best” life?
I don’t think so.
I think, that living a good life, begins and ends, based on your ability to serve others.
Serving others does NOT mean you cannot enjoy earning a good living.
You absolutely will benefit greatly, based on the connections you make with others.
How you treat people, long before they ever become a customer, makes a huge difference.
The connections you make, in your advertising, emails, blog posts, website pages, and any other platform or means of displaying your content, will make you or break you.
The only way I can explain it, and I hope it makes sense to you; is to become a breath of fresh air to your audience.
Meaning…
People feel good after getting to know you.
They feel as if you are just like them.
You have been where they are right now.
And…
Not only have YOU overcome their problem…
But you can help THEM do likewise.
You can make a difference in their life. Their business. Their family.
It all begins with just those two things I mentioned earlier.
To benefit your audience, you MUST do a few right things.
#1 You need to have a way to share something meaningful, and beneficial for your audience.
#2 You MUST know your audience, so you can help them when they need you most.
So do something TODAY, to begin the process of sharing something positive with your audience.
Begin a journey with them.
You will never know how far they can take you until you take that first step toward them.
Good journey.
Thank you for being here.
I’ll see you again next week.
Bye for now.
